A series of cute sculptures.
Say hi to Watson — a series of cute bird sculptures. Watson was specifically developed to repurpose workshop off-cuts, demonstrating how waste material can be used to create beautiful, functional, and desirable objects.
In developing Watson, the design was constrained by the salvaged material, while the manufacture focused on simple and efficient production, utilising the fewest possible hand-tools and processes.
Watson received a Commended award in the Australian Wood Review, Maker of the Year Awards 2021.
Designed and handmade by Luke in Canberra, Australia.
Materials: White Ash and American Walnut or American Walnut and Rock Maple.
