Batch production

The benefits of batch production are immense, particularly in terms of production. Work produced by hand is inherently time-consuming and prone to inefficiency. This can be further compounded by artists who work by themselves, with mediums that are slow to work.

Inefficiency persists as a risk for all artists.

Often, throughout the creative process we (consciously or subconsciously) ignore inefficiencies in production. One-off objects are particularly prone to this problem.

Batch production is revealing. It involves repetition, volume, and quantity. Not only does it highlight redundancies and inadequacies in our production design, but it also demands the refinement of it.
